FALLS COUNTY MISDEMEANOR DOCKET
On August 25,2021, Judge Jay Elliott convened court to hear misdemeanor cases. The following cases were disposed of, others were reset.
Class A Misdemeanors
• Jesus Flores Alvarez, 39, from Joshua, pled guilty to furnish alcohol to a minor. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 2 days. He was assessed a $250.00 fine and ordered to pay court costs. Alvarez was arrested on October 12, 2020, by Lott Police Department.
• Jaeveon Joseph Kemp, 21, from Hill, pled guilty to unlawful carrying of weapon. He was sentenced to 365 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 12 months probation, assessed a $500.00 fine. He was ordered to pay court costs. Kemp was arrested on July 28, 2020, by Marlin Police Department.
• Albert Ray Smock, 60, from Lott, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated 2nd. He was sentenced to 365 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 12 months probation, assessed a $1,000.00 fine, he was also ordered to pay court costs. Smock was arrested on August 23, 2019, by Texas Department of Public Safety.
• Brady Hunter Walker, 21, from Marlin, pled guilty to assault causes bodily injury family violence. He was sentenced to 365 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on 24 months probation, assessed a $500.00 fine, he was ordered to pay court costs. Walker was arrested on October 30, 2020, by Marlin Police Department.
• Carol Lynn McBee, 52, from Rosebud, pled guilty to possession of controlled substance PG3<28G. She was placed on 12 months deferred probation, assessed a $500.00 fine, she was ordered to pay court costs. McBee was arrested on May 26, 2020, by Lott Police Department.
• Rebekah Lee Escobar, 34, from Marlin, pled guilty to resist arrest search or transport X2 and criminal trespass, she was placed on 24 months deferred probation, assessed a $500.00 fine, she was ordered to pay court costs. Escobar was arrested on December 26, 2019, by Marlin Police Department.
• David Lester Grohoske, 40, from Lott, pled guilty to possession of controlled substance PG3<28G. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. He was ordered to pay court costs. Grohoske was arrested on May 2, 2021, by Lott Police Department.
Class B Misdemeanors
• Hellen Faye Curry, 37, from Marlin, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated. She was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended and she was placed on 24 months probation, assessed a $500.00 fine, she was ordered to pay court costs. Curry was arrested on April 9, 2021, by Marlin Police Department.
• Brady Hunter Walker, 21, from Marlin, pled guilty theft of property>$100<$750. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. Walker was arrested on December 13, 2019, by Marlin Police Department.
• Charles Rashad Williams, 30, pled guilty reckless driving. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. Williams was arrested on May 30, 2021, by Texas Department of Public Safety.
• Armando Moreno, Jr, 37, from Fort Worth, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days, assessed a $500.00 fine, he was ordered to pay court costs. Moreno was arrested on November 14, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
