FALLS COUNTY MISDEMEANOR DOCKET

On March 30, 2023, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr. convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following felony cases were disposed of:  

3rd Degree 

Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Joel Keith Wolf, 61, from Riesel, who had been placed on probation for the offense of evading arrest detention with vehicle was revoked and sentenced to 6 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System.

Bobby Clinton Holder, 40, from Waco, who had been placed on probation for the offense bail jumping was revoked and sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

Dreyfuss Deshean Bailey, 42, from Rosebud, who had been placed on probation for the offense of fail to comply sex offender register for life/annual was revoked and sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Bobby Clinton Holder, 40, from Waco, who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than one gram was revoked and sentenced to 18 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. 

Robert Elmer Evans, 55, from Waco, pled guilty to theft of property over $2,500.00 but less than $30,000.00. He was sentenced to 24 months in a State Jail Facility. Evans was arrested on July 6, 2021, by Game Warden. 

Christine Theresa Giordani, 39, from Bremond, pled guilty to possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than one gram. She was sentenced to 2 years confinement in a State Jail Facility. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on 5 years probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine. Giordani was arrested on November 24, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Ralph James Smith, Jr, 53, from Marlin, pled guilty possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than one gram. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine. Smith was ordered into the substance abuse felony program. Smith was arrested on February 12, 2023, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
