FALLS COUNTY MISDEMEANOR DOCKET

On April 26, 2023, Judge Jay Elliott convened court to hear misdemeanor cases.  The following cases were disposed of, others were reset.

Class A 

Misdemeanors

Tiffany Macdonald, 40, from Marlin, pled guilty to assault causes bodily injury family member. She was placed on 12 months deferred probation, assessed a $500.00 fine. Macdonald was arrested on November 24, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Elizabeth Ann Mills, 74, from Kingsland, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated 2nd. She was sentenced to 1 year confinement in the Falls County Jail. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on 18 months probation.  Mills was arrested on April 8, 2022, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Crystal Lynn Butler, 42, from Lorena, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated 2nd. She was sentenced to 1 year confinement in the Falls County Jail. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on 18 months probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine. Butler was arrested on July 6, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Dreyfuss Deshawn Bailey, 42, from Rosebud, pled guilty to assault causes bodily injury family member. He was sentenced to 49 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 49 days time served. Bailey was arrested on March 9, 2023, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Class B 

Misdemeanors

Ollie Clifton Slay, 62, from Lott, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated with open container. He was sentenced to 1 year confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on 24 months probation, assessed a $2,000.00 fine. Slay was arrested on May 23, 2022, by Texas Department of Public Safety. 

Catalina Guerrero, 33, from Chilton, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated. She was placed on 12 months deferred probation. Guerrero was arrested on November 20, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Eduardo Villanueva, 28, from Marlin, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated. He was placed on 1 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Villanueva was arrested on December 24, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Leighton Lee Lawson, 29, from Rosebud, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. He assessed a $500.00 fine and ordered to pay court costs.  Lawson was arrested on December 26, 2022, by Texas Department of Public Safety. 

Julian Villarreal, 48, from Goldthwaite, TX, pled guilty to driving while license invalid with previous conviction. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement In the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days time served. He assessed a $300.00 fine and ordered to pay court costs. Villarreal was arrested on July 15, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Richard Henry Smith, 30, from Kingsland, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days time served. He assessed a $300.00 fine and ordered to pay court costs. Smith was arrested on January 6, 2023, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Arterio Antuan Robinson, 32, from Marlin, pled guilty to theft of property >$100<$750. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. He assessed a $300.00 fine and ordered to pay court costs. Robinson was arrested on October 10, 2022, by, Marlin Police Department. 

Irving Aguirre Velasquez, 39, from Marlin, pled guilty to driving while license invalid X2. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls Count Jail with credit for 3 days time served. He assessed a $500.00 fine and ordered to pay court costs. Velasquez was arrested on July 21, 2022 and February 20, 2023, by Marlin Police Department.

Marvin Elliott Jones, 59, from Marlin, pled guilty to theft of property >$100<$750. He was sentenced to 45 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 2 days. Jones was arrested on September 15, 2022, by Falls County Constable.
