School Supply Drive begins for 2020-2021

On July 6, collection for the 12th Annual School Supply Drive began. The drive will benefit students from around the county, but collection sites are in Marlin. 

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. until July 20, donations will be accepted at the Marlin Walmart. There will be a booth set up in front of the store for patrons to drop their gifts. Cash Donations are also accepted. Other locations accepting locations are the Marlin Chamber of Commerce (from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily) or at TWFG Insurance Agency, located at 204 Live Oak Street.

There is also a fundraiser organized through Facebook for those who would like to donate that way. A link to the fundraiser can be found on the Marlin Democrat Facebook page.

Organizers encourage citizens to contribute to the future of Falls County children’s education.
