Mooreville UMC Fun Run a success

People came from all over to help support Mooreville United Methodist Church in their quest to rebuild their Sanctuary at the Second Annual Groundhog “Chase Your Shadow” 5k and Fun Run on Saturday.

It was initially created without a specific intention as to what to do with the funds received, but since then, the congregation suffered the loss of their 108-year old building, and have funneled their efforts into advocating for another one.

“We can rebuild but we can never replace the original structure,” longtime church member Ann Phelps told....
