Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

Local Marlinite Terrie Irvin (pictured center front) celebrated two years of being cancer-free by spearheading a Cancer-Free Walk Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Courthouse Square. As stated by Ms. Irvin, “The walk was organized to support myself, for those who are battling and will battle and to not forget those who lost their fight.” Terrie’s vision is to make this non-competitive walk an annual event. Also pictured are family, friends and other community supporters of the cause.
