COVID Walk

The Marlin Texas Juneteenth Origination held the Second Annual COVID Walk on Oct. 21. It was great time by all. This year there were members of the Baylor Track Team (pictured above) in the walk. 2023-24 Track & Field Coaching Staff, Head Coach Michael Ford and Associate Head Coach Stacey Smith, along with members of the team. The guest speaker was Omar Gonzales of Baylor Scott & White Infectious Desiese Center, Waco. Coach Ford lead everyone in warm ups prior to the 1.5 mile walk enjoyed by all. As the Marlin TX Juneteenth Organization grows so will the COVID Walk. COVID, like Cancer and other Disease is here to stay; our goal is to educate and be aware, keeping our community safe.
