Early voting for November elections begins
Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election begins Monday, Oct. 21 and ends on Nov. 1.
Texas voters will be choosing from a full slate of candidates, from president to U.S. senator to various county positions.
Voters are reminded to bring one of seven approved forms of photo IDs to the polls. Among the options are a Texas driver’s license, U.S. passport, or handgun license. A complete list of acceptable IDs can be found at vote.texas.gov. Voters can also make sure they are registered by going to that site.
Early voting in Falls County will be held at the Falls County Courthouse Building, 1910 Industrial Park Road in Marlin.
Early voting dates and times are: Monday to Friday, Oct. 21-25 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 26, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Monday to Friday, Oct. 28 to Nov. 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Falls County voters will vote for President/Vice President, US Senator, US Representative District 17, Railroad Commissioner, several state level judges, and State Representative District 13
The only contested local race is for Sheriff between Republican Jason Campbell and Democrat Joe Lopez.
