Historic Downtown Marlin Association seeks to expand membership
The Historic Downtown Marlin Association (HDMA) is excited to announce its efforts to grow its membership and enhance participation from local businesses in the Marlin community.
The HDMA plays a pivotal role in preserving the charm and vitality of Marlin’s downtown area. Now more than ever, it seeks the input and support of business owners to continue this important work.
Membership is open to any business owner in Marlin, Texas, with an annual membership fee of just $30. This low-cost membership offers a unique opportunity for business leaders to have a direct impact on the improvement and beautification of downtown Marlin, including one of its most cherished projects - the annual Christmas Lights display. The association is currently engaged in efforts to repair the lights in preparation for the upcoming holiday season.
The HDMA meets monthly on the third Tuesday at noon, graciously hosted by Lauren’s Women’s Apparel and Gifts. These meetings provide a platform for local businesses to share ideas, voice concerns, and collaborate on initiatives that strengthen the downtown area.
Dr. Glenn Rose, the president of the HDMA, encourages all business owners and non-business owners alike in Marlin to join the association. “Your involvement is crucial,” Dr. Rose said. “Together, we can create a vibrant downtown that benefits our businesses and community alike.”
