In 1892 hot mineral waters were found when early residents of the town drilled a well in search for an additional water source. Marlin then quickly grew, developing a health industry around it.
Miss Shania Ford is a senior at Marlin High School. Her current GPA is a 4.0. She is the daughter of Eule & Angie Ford. She is the eldest of her siblings Aleisha & Trey Ford.
Railroad contractor contacted the City of Marlin to acknowledge them that replacement of the tracks through Marlin will take place November 28-29. Closures will be between 5a.m. and 5p.m.
