For the Texans a win in Denver proved to be to high a goal. The Texans managed only three field goals for 9 points as the Denver defense did a job on the receiving corp holding DeAndre Hopkins to only 36 yards in 5 completions and he led the team for receiving yards. As dismal as the stats are, the overall defensive play of the Texans showed the chinks in the armor. The Broncos showed no fear running the ball for 190 yards and allowing RB Anderson to gain 107 of those ground numbers. In the air, the Texan secondary gave up 157 passing yards.
