Family favorite restaurant suffers from fire

On November 30, approximately 10:00 P.M. The City of Marlin Fire Department was dispatched to a fire located at 1008 North Business Highway 6 in Marlin. Lakeview Drive Inn, which has been a favorite of the community for some time now; it was recently reopened with new owners. Same great quality of food, they even expanded the menu to serve breakfast.
Upon arrival, at 10:03, on duty fire crew requested assistance from the Marlin Volunteer Fire Department. Marlin P.D. officers, who arrived on scene just ahead of fire crews, reported visible flames at the front of the building.
