Marsfest a success

Despite being a little cold and having a slow start, the Marlin Animal Rescue Society’s fundraiser held on Saturday, April 14, was a huge success reports Mildred Wilson, President of MARS.

The first of the proposed annual Marlin music festivals boosted nine musical acts who performed non-stop from 11:00 a.m, until midnight at the Bucksnort Saloon in downtown Marlin.
