Lions Club International Recognizes Three Marlin Lions
Strong membership is vital to the success of the Marlin Lions Club, District 2-x3, and the Lions Clubs International organization worldwide. Without dedicated members, there would be no one to serve those in need. Lions International offers opportunities for all members to receive recognition for the role they play in growing our organization around the world.
The Centennial Celebration Membership Awards provides the opportunity for Lions and Lions clubs to share in the celebration and help strengthen our organization for the next 100 years.
The Centennial Celebration Membership Awards offer progressive recognition for Lions that successfully sponsor new members. The program rewards Lions for inviting members that are committed to serving their community and remain in the club over a number of years. .New Lion members have the opportunity to join in helping others, meeting new people and using talents to make a real impact.
The Centennial Celebration Membership Awards started on April 1, 2015, and ran through June 30, 2018. Three Marlin Lions on October 1, 2020 were recognized with a Centennial Celebration Membership Award pin for inviting new members who have remained as active participants in the Marlin Lions Club: Mike McGouirk, Sheila Lawson, Dr. Charlotte Langston.
Congratulations!
