FALLS COUNTY MISDEMEANORS

On April 14, 2021, Judge Jay Elliott convened court to hear misdemeanor cases.  The following cases were disposed of, others were reset.

Class A Misdemeanors

• Melissa Nicole Walts, 39, from Bellmead, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated BAC>=0.15.  She was sentenced to 1 year confinement in the Falls County Jail.  Her sentence was suspended, and she was placed on probation for 12 months and assessed a $500.00 fine. She was arrested on September 26, 2020, by Texas Department of Public Safety. 

Class B Misdemeanors

• Ethan Angelo Lopez, 21, from Waco, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was placed on 12 months deferred probation and assessed a $500.00 fine. He was ordered to pay court costs. He was arrested on October 10, 2020, by Texas Department of Public Safety. 

• Jermaine Scott, 41, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 14 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. He was ordered to pay court costs. He was arrested on September 22, 2020 by Marlin Police Department.

• Michael D Roberson, 57, from Marlin, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated 1st. He was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 12 months probation and assessed a $500.00 fine. He was arrested on October 26, 2020 by Marlin Police Department.
