FALLS COUNTY MISDEMEANOR DOCKET
On June 23,2021, Judge Jay Elliott convened court to hear misdemeanor cases. The following cases were disposed of, others were reset.
Class A Misdemeanors
• Dylan Edward Backus, 25, from Moody, who had been placed on probation for the offense of unlawful carrying weapon, was revoked, and he was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. Backus was arrested on January 14, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
• Devonsha Dereashu Weatherspoon, 28, from Marlin, pled guilty to assault causes bodily injury family violence X2. He was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 1 day. Weatherspoon was arrested on July 9, 2020, by Marlin Police Department.
• Jesus Saldana, 38, from Dawson, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated 2nd. He was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 1 day. Saldana was arrested on September 6, 2020, by Texas Department of Public Safety.
• Jace Delany Bodiford, 21, from Bremond, pled guilty to hunting provisions violation. He was placed on 12 months deferred probation, assessed a $200.00 fine, ordered to pay court costs. Bodiford was arrested on December 07, 2020, by Game Warden.
Class B Misdemeanors
• Michele Hunt-Hand, 51, from Lott, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. He was arrested on November 22, 2020, by Lott Police Department.
• Ronnie Dewayne Owens, Jr, 27, from Reagan, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. Hodges-Leger was arrested on November 22, 2020, by Lott Police Department.
• Dawn Michelle Jones, 48, from Belton, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. She was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. Jones was arrested on August 23, 2020, by Texas Department of Public Safety.
• Toril Nicole Wilke, 28, from College Station, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. She was placed on 12 months deferred probation, assessed a $500.00, ordered to pay court costs. Wilke was arrested on March 25, 2021, by Marlin Police Department.
• Rachael Ellen Williams, 27, from Eddy, pled guilty to possession of maijuanan less than two ounces. She was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 30 days. Williams was arrested on July 6, 2020, by Falls County Sherriff’s Office.
• Jerry flores, 51, from San Antonio, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 1 day. Flores was arrested on October 29, 2020, by Lott Police Department.
• Lamar Jackson, 26, from Waco, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 30 days. Jackson was arrested on October 2, 2020, by Lott Police Department.
