Earnest Baysinger Sr.
Earnest Baysinger Sr., 72, passed away on Sept. 23, 2021.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at 11 a.m. at South Union Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing will be held Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, from noon to 6 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home Chapel. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Earnest was born Aug. 3, 1949, to James and Estella Baysinger in Marlin. He attended church at South Union Missionary Baptist Church all of his young life. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and graduated in 1968. Earnest went on to pursue a career in the United States Air Force, where he served until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Barbara; three brothers, Freeman, Albert and Willie Earl; twin sisters, Willie Mae and Helen; and a granddaughter, Seimone Baysinger.
Earnest leaves to cherish his memory seven children, Paulette Scott (Steve), Coy Potts (Brenda), Nakia Baysinger and Earnest Baysinger II, Sandra Biggurs
Zacarriea Jones-Baysinger and Jassiem Jones-Baysinger; five siblings, James Baysinger (Dorothy), Mary Jo Lucas, Ellen Giddings, Joyce Mitchell (Howard) and Charles Baysinger (Pat); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends who loved him dearly.
