CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
First Presbyterian Church in Lott invites everyone to their Christmas Celebration Service at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17. There will be special music and refreshments will be served. The church is located at the corner of Gassaway Ave. and 8th St in Lott.
MARLIN CHRISTMAS PARADE
The Marlin Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is set for Dec. 7. Winter Wonderland and Parade on the Square. Vendors at 5:30 p.m. Sponsorships welcome. All entried due by Dec. 1. Austin Food Truck will be at the First Baptist Church/Golden Years parking lot on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 10-11 a.m.

American Legion

Marlin senior center
Marlin Senior Center hosts dominoes from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday and Thursday; Bingo from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. The Jamboree is held every third Saturday from 6-9 p.m. There is no admission fee. The building is also available for rent. The fee is $200 a day and a $100 deposit.

Children’s Story Time returns to the Marlin Library on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
NAACP
NAACP will meet every fourth Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Hitching Post on 5029 State Hwy 7.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Boys & Girls Club of Falls County has an after school program that offers things such as homework help, health and life skills, and individual tutoring. It is $20 per child. Lions Club of Marlin will meet every second Tuesday of each month at 12 p.m. at the Chicken Place.
