Bulldogs, Lady Dogs head for Regionals

Several Bulldogs and Lady Dogs are headed for the Regional Track Meet on April 19-20 in Palestine.

Last week the Marlin boys and girls track teams participated in the Area Meet hosted by Bosqueville High School. 

The girls finished in fourth place with 50 points and the boys finished in third place with 73 points.

Placing for the girls were:

Triple jump: Keundra Wilson - 1st place

Shot Put: Saniya Suiters - 1st place

Discus: Saniya Suiters - 4th place

100-meter dash: Keundra Wilson - 1st place

100-meter hurdles: Anastasia Cleveland - 3rd place

4x100 relay: 2nd place: Sharyia Womack, Kya Mitchell, E’Marii Butler, Keundra Wilson

4x200 relay: 6th place: Sharyia Womack, Cerenity Thomas-Judie, E’Marii Butler, Keundra Wilson

Placing for the boys were:

High jump: Arik Smith-Shelly - 6th place

Shot Put: Braden Steele - 2nd place, Brysen Steele - 4th place

Discus: Mario Hopwood - 5th place, Braden Steele - 3rd place 

100-meter dash: I’Aire Kee - 1st place 

200-meter dash: Keyshaun Massington - 5th place

110-meter hurdles: Christian Diles - 3rd place 

300-meter hurdles: Christian Diles - 3rd place

4x100 relay: 1st place: I’Aire Kee, Jaden Ray, Keyshaun Massington, and Caden Judie

4x200: 2nd place: De’Angelo Wright, Jaden Ray, Keyshaun Massington, and Caden Judie
