Headed to State

Last week the Marlin boys and girls track teams participated in the Regional Meet hosted by Palestine High School. The state meet will be on Friday, May 3, at the Mike A Myers stadium at the University of Texas. Congratulations to all the Marlin track runners who are headed to the State Meet. Keundra Wilson is the lone state qualifier for the girls team. She finished first place in the triple jump and the 100-meter dash. The boys will have six state qualifiers. Braden Steele finished in the shot put. I’Aire Kee finished first place in the 100-meter dash. The 4x100 relay team that consists of I’Aire Kee, Jaden Ray, Keyshaun Massington, and Caden Judie finished in first place.
