City to burn brush pile Tuesday

Marlin Mayor Susan Byrd announced yesterday, Aug. 1, that the city will be burning their debris pile next Tuesday, Aug. 6, barring any adverse weather and approval of the Texas Commission on Enviromental Quality.

The City Works Department will also resume picking up debris from the May/June storm damage next week.

The city reminds residents that limbs for pickup should be three feet or shorter and placed in your yard closest to the curb or street.
