Cooking Well With Diabetes
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service along with McLennan Community College Continuing Education is hosting the “Cooking Well with Diabetes” series of classes at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, McLennan County located at 4224 Cobbs Drive, Waco. The Instructor will be Rachel Esquivel, CEA FCH.
Classes will be held on Thursdays, Sept. 5-26, from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Cost of this class is $25.
The goal of the program is to help those living with diabetes, family members, or those just wanting to learn how to make changes to the foods we eat and how they are prepared. The four-lesson series examines carbohydrates, meal planning, and reducing fat and sodium while still maintaining flavorful dishes.
