Lady Dogs fall to LaPoynor in Area

The Marlin Lady Bulldogs girls basketball team traveled to Corsicana on Friday, Feb. 14 to take on the LaPoynor Lady Flyers at Navarro College in the area round of the playoffs.
The Lady Bulldogs were defeated by LaPoynor, losing 46-31 to bring their season to an end.
With this loss, Marlin finishes their season with a record of 17-8 and a district record of 11-1 and being crowned district co-champions.
