Marlin track team competes at Leopard Relays

The Marlin boys and girls track teams participated in the Leopard Relays in Lorena on Thursday, March 27.

The girls finished 7th with a total of 30 points.

Keundra Wilson was the lone girls runner to place. She finished first in the triple jump, first in the 100m dash, and first in the 200m dash.

The boys finished 7th with a total of 37 points.

DeAngelo Wright was sixth in 100m dash.

TyRaun Bell was fourth in shot put.

Brysen Maxwell-Steele was fifth in discus, and fifth in shot put.

Christian Diles was third in 110m hurdles.

Keyshaun Massington was first in 100m dash.

4x100 relay finished fourth: DeAngelo Wright, Jaden Ray, Christian Diles, Keyshaun Massington.

4x100 relay finished fifth: DeAngelo Wright, Jaden Ray, Christian Diles, TiQuorry Bailey.

Their next meet will be the district meet hosted by Riesel on Monday, March 31, and Wednesday,April 2. See next weeks paper for results.
