Bulldogs in top spot in district play

The Marlin Bulldogs, pictured above prior to their January bout against the Axtell Longhorns, are currently placed first in district. They haven't lost a single match since the start of district play. Friday's game against the Bremond Tigers cemented the title. Top scorers were: junior Tre Thomas, with 19 points; Keyshawn Thomas, with 10 points; and Tremayne Richardson, with nine points. Thomas bagged five three pointers, four rebounds, and three steals. Scores from Tuesday's sold out game against Wortham will be available next week.
