Several Bulldogs named to all-district list

All-District and Academic All-District awards for District 8 2A Varsity Football were announced this week by Marlin ISD. 

The first team players are as follows:

Co-Offensive MVP: Sophomore Trajon Butler; 1st Team All-District Running Back/Defensive Back: Junior Ty Harris; 1st Team WR/DB: Senior Tydae Mayes; 1st Team Linebacker: Junior Tremayne Richardson; 1st Team Offensive Lineman: Senior Issac Kelly; 1st Team Offensive Lineman/Defensive Lineman: Senior Kaidon Johnson; and Special Team Punter Of The Year: Senior Jason Lujano. 

The second team players are as follows:

Team Defensive Lineman: Junior Keyshawn Thomas; 2nd Team Offensive Linemen:  Junior Ke'Untre Thomas, Freshman Kenneth Hayes Jr., and Junior Isaiah Sanchez; 2nd Team Defensive Lineman:Sophomore K'Jahmarrey Wilson;  2nd Team All-District Kicker: Junior Tristen Robles. District 8 2A Academic All-District goes to Freshman David Haynes III, Sophomore Derion Gullette, and Junior Tristen Robles. Honorable mention players are Sophomore K'Jahmarrey Wilson, Freshmen Ja'Marien Womack, and Mario Hopwood.
