Bulldogs fall to Mart

A Mart defender chases down Marlin’s Mario Hopwood on Thursday night, Sept. 1. The Marlin Bulldogs football team went on the road to face the Mart Panthers on Sept. 1. They were defeated 41-6. They were shut out by Mart in the first half 34-0, and their only score of the game came on a rushing touchdown by Trajon Butler in the third quarter. However, the Bulldogs still went on to lose 41-6. The next matchup for the Bulldogs will be on the road as they will take on the Groesbeck Goats. The game will be on Friday and is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
