This past Friday night the Pirates of Chilton coming off a huge win over Meridian traveled to Hubbard to play against the Jaguars. Looking to make their district record 2-1 and overall record 5-4, the Pirates were unable to do so as they fell by a score of 36-13. Though the Pirates lost, they did not in any way go out without a hard fight. For a combined total of 191 yards on the ground at just over 4.5 yards per carry the Pirates seemed unstoppable. QB Jevon Davis had the majority of carries and yards at 17 carries for 114 yards, 6.7 yards per carry.
