The Lady Bulldogs staying focused
The Marlin Lady Bulldogs had two district games this past week and played tough in both games. They have continued to demonstrate an improved level of focus as the season has progressed.
The Lady Bulldogs are hoping to build their program slowly by challenging themselves to be a better team each time they play.
As they continue to work on the necessary skills that the game dictates. They are still maintaining a level of focus that should bode well for their future as a team. With two freshmen, 3 sophomores, and two juniors on the squad, Coach Claretta Kanigo has a lot to look forward to with the program.
She has already seen the progress of freshmen Alieghseya Washington and Aniyah Williams, while sophomores Danielle Nobles, Kerrirea Davis, and juniors LaRachel Taylor, Maisha Evans have all been a big part of the teams success this season.
Seniors Dyneisha Bailey and Jalen Chappell have provided much needed leadership for the young inexperienced team. Together the group has continued to keep focus despite the losses. The team, like their coach is looking at the big picture and in the big picture the program is on the rise.
