Lady Cougars sweep Groesbeck

The Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars volleyball team hosted the Groesbeck Lady Goats on Friday. Rosebud-Lott swept Groesbeck 3-0, winning the first set 25-15, the second set 27-25, and the third set 25-16. 

Brightan Willberg played well with an assist, a dig, and 13 kills. Kaitlyn Jenkins had a great game with 16 digs, two aces, and 17 kills. 

Jackie Salazar had a solid game with two kills, three aces, and 14 digs. Kayley Robertson played incredible with 10 digs, two kills, three aces, and 33 assists. 

After a home matchup against the Mumford Lady Mustangs, the Lady Cougars will head out to Orlando, Fla., for the KSA Tournament. They will have three games on Friday: The Geneva Lady Knights (Florida) at 8:30 a.m., the Scarsdale Lady Raiders (New York) at 10 a.m., and the Livingston Academy Lady Cats (Tennessee) at 11:30 a.m.
