Marlin track teams do well at district
The Marlin boys and girls both came in second place in the district track meet last week. Several team members advanced to the area meet which was held Monday and Tuesday in Reisel.
The boys came in secons with 112 points.
Roderick Suiters was third in high jump.
Praiyer Jones was first in discuss and first in shot put.
Jordan Womack was first in triple jump.
Mario Hopwood was fifth in 110-meter hurdles.
Ty Bell was fourth in 200-meter dash.
Trajon Butler was second in 200-meter dash.
JahVen Jordan was fifth in 100-meter adash.
Caden Thomas-Judie was third in 400-meter dash.
Christian Diles was second in 110-meter hurdles and fifth in 300-meter hurdles.
Trajon Butler, Caden Thomas-Judie, ZhaMauryon Lofton, and IAire Kee came in first in 4x100 relay.
Trajon Butler, Keyshaun Massington, ZhaMauryon Lofton, and IAire Kee came in third in 4x200 relay.
Caden Thomas-Judie, Keyshaun Massington, ZhaMauryon Lofton, and IAire Kee came in third in 4x400 relay.
The girls came in second place with 108 points.
Emarii Butler was fourth in 200-meter dash.
Cerenity Judie was second in 400-meter dash.
Anastasia Cleveland was third in 100-meter hurdles.
Saniya Suiters was third in shot put and third in discus.
Keundra Wilson was first in triple jump, second in long jump, and second in 100-meter dash.
