The Marlin Bulldogs basketball team traveled to Navarro College in Corsicana on Tuesday for the Area round of the playoffs. They took on the Martins Mill Mustangs and were defeated 44-26.
Marlin Senior Praiyer Jones signed a full track and field scholarship to compete for the University of Louisiana Lafeyette Rajin Cajuns. Jones is a State level competitor in field events.
The Marlin Bulldogs basketball team hosted the Bremond Tigers on Feb. 8. Marlin fell to the Tigers in a 43-40 nailbiter.

The Chilton Pirates football team had their fantastic season come to an end when they fell to the Burton Panthers in a tight defensive game, losing 7-0 to finish 12-1.
