The Marlin Bulldogs traveled to take on the Chilton Pirates in the first-ever meeting for the two schools on Sept. 13. Marlin handily shut out Chilton 43-0.
The Marlin Bulldogs football team traveled out to Royse City High School Friday, Sept. 6, for a neutral site game against the Honey Grove Warriors.
On Friday, Aug. 30, the Marlin Bulldogs football team opened up their season with a road match against the Lexington Eagles. They were defeated by Lexington 27-12.
