The Marlin Bulldogs basketball team went on the road to take on the Axtell Longhorns. The Bulldogs defeated the Longhorns 48-31. Elijah Davis played well with 6 points, 8 rebounds, and a steal.
Last week the Marlin Bulldogs basketball team participated in an in-season tournament hosted by Rosebud-Lott. They played two games on Tuesday, the first was against the Whitney Wildcats.

The Marlin Bulldogs basketball team got a new season started last Tuesday against Mexia. Marlin lost 81-54 in Mexia. They will continue play in the Bruceville-Eddy Tournament Dec. 8-10.
The Marlin Bulldogs football team traveled to West High School on Friday to take on the Rio Vista Eagles in the Bi-District round of the playoffs.
