The student athletes of Marlin ISD were honored last Monday, May 14, during the school’s annual Sports Banquet ceremony, that was hosted at the Booker T.
The Marlin Lady Bulldogs in their final season of competition in Class 3-AAA had one glorious run.
The Marlin Lady Bulldogs have had their moments of celebration this past year including a Region Championship in basketball and an Area Championship in track and field.
They came up just short in the race for the District Championship, finishing 2nd behind Troy’s Lady Trojans.
The Marlin boys track team was not as successful as their female counterparts but the Bulldogs showed they still have a little bite left in them this year.
