Rotary Club Marlin introduced guest speaker Rachelle Elizabeth (Chelly) Bell at the meeting of August 12, 2020. She is the granddaughter of Marlin's own Volunteer of the Year, Ms.

Her name is Niki Edwards, and she states, “I am thrilled to join our Marlin Elementary educators as the principal of our campus.
Thor, the K-9 unit assigned to Deputy Matt Jones, is officially back on the force. The transfer was finalized during Monday’s Commissioners’ Court meeting.
