The Marlin Senior Varsity Basketball players are heading into the home stretch of their high school careers. The last home game of the season was played on Feb. 2, against the Wortham Bulldogs.
Aniya Williams, senior, celebrated surpassing 1,500 rebounds during her high school athletic career on Jan 22 after facing the Axtell Tigers.
The Marlin Bulldogs, pictured above prior to their January bout against the Axtell Longhorns, are currently placed first in district.
The Marlin Bulldogs soccer team suffered two tough losses this past week. In the first game of the season, the Lorena Leopards took the game with nine points to Marlin’s zero.
The Super CenTex Football Team was announced this week and Marlin's very own Tra Butler was named as the second team Right Safety.
