The Marlin Girls Varsity Basketball team donated cookies to Marlin Elementary School on Tuesday, December 18. The Lady Bulldogs will be back on the court in Marlin on Dec. 29, where they will take on the Connally Cadets.
Lady Bulldogs suffer second loss of the season
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to La Vega this week to take on the Pirates in a non-district match where they put up a barking fight, but ultimately played the part of the underdogs.

Late surge propels Marlin to win over Groesbeck
After a fast start, things got a little too close for comfort for the Marlin girls' basketball team in the fourth quarter of its non-district game at Groesbeck on Friday night.
