Rev. Harvey McGruder, is the son of the late Ocie and Beverly McGruder. He is a native son of Marlin. He received his early Education in the Booker T. Washington Schools of Marlin, Texas.
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marlin hosted a successful Fall Festival on Sept. 1, attracting a large crowd and raising funds through a raffle and delicious chicken fajita meal.
